The Election Commission (ECI) has shared the timetable for upcoming general elections in Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana

In Telangana, there will be a competition between three parties in the assembly election: the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and the Congress. In the last Assembly election in 2018, BRS won 88 seats out of 119 and had a strong 47.4% of the total votes. The Congress came second with only 19 seats and a 28.7% share of the votes.
