Balochistan pm in-Exile visits Ganga Aarti: seeks PM Modi’s help

Haridwar: Naela Quadri, the Prime Minister of the Balochistan government-in-exile, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government to extend support for Balochistan’s liberation from Pakistan’s unlawful occupation at the United Nations (UN). Speaking to reporters on Friday, Quadri emphasized that it’s an opportune moment for India to stand with Balochistan at the UN, as such an opportunity may not present itself in the future. She made this statement after performing a puja at the VIP ghat of the Ganga in Uttarakhand, where she prayed for Balochistan’s freedom.

Naela Quadri expressed that Balochistan was an independent country in the past but is currently under Pakistan’s unlawful occupation. She accused Pakistan of exploiting Balochistan’s valuable mineral resources and subjecting its people to various forms of violence and oppression, including rape of Baloch girls and destruction of homes and orchards.

Moreover, Quadri pointed out that Pakistan is not acting alone in perpetrating these atrocities; it has enlisted the support of China to further oppress the Baloch people. This cooperation between Pakistan and China has led to additional hardships and human rights abuses against the Baloch population.

Naela Quadri asserted that if India extends support for Balochistan’s cause at the UN, the Baloch people will reciprocate and stand in support of India when Balochistan achieves freedom from Pakistan’s occupation.

Highlighting the shared experiences between India and Balochistan, Quadri pointed out that both have faced oppression and hardships in the name of religion. During her visit to Haridwar, Quadri was accompanied by Yati Narsinghanand, the chief priest of the Dasna temple. It’s worth noting that Yati Narsinghanand had previously faced accusations of delivering a hate speech against Muslims at a “Dharma Sansad” event in Haridwar in 2021.

Currently, Naela Quadri is on a global tour to garner international support for Balochistan’s liberation from Pakistan.
